New dental practice in Zeist

Element Mondzorg

In spring 2027 we want to open our new practice on the 2e Hogeweg. Before we can open, we need the bank's approval. To support our application, we're gauging interest within our own network.

What we believe

Our core values come through in everything we do and communicate. The convictions behind them form the basis of our approach.

  • Clarity

You take better care of your teeth when you understand what's going on and why.

That's why with us you know exactly where you stand: before, during and after every appointment.

  • Connection

We're committed to a lasting bond with our patients, our team and Zeist.

Connection builds trust, and trust brings calm, partnership and a better care experience.

  • Honesty

Honesty leads to progress, even when it's uncomfortable at first.

We're honest about what we see, and we'd love to hear it when we can do better too. That's how we reach the best result together.

  • Accessibility

Good dental care should be accessible, for everyone.

Digital convenience should never become a requirement. Can't or don't want to arrange everything online? Then you can simply call us or drop by.

What we promise

Convictions only become valuable when you put them into practice. This is what that concretely means for you as a patient.

Promise 1: You have your own regular dentist

With us you have the same dentist for the long term. Your dentist gets to know you well, which makes every visit feel familiar. And if your dentist happens to be on holiday? Then your whole story is already known to the other permanent dentists in the team. That means you never have to tell it all over again.

How we do that

  • Our dentists are (or become) co-owners, which keeps them committed to the practice for the long term.
  • Our whole team is permanently employed; we don't work with freelancers.
  • We record personal goals, preferences and agreements in your file.

Promise 2: You understand what's happening

We're clear about expectations up front, and communicate openly about them. Together we set goals and help you reach them. Before and during every appointment you know what will happen and what it costs.

How we do that

  • We record your goals and make a plan to work towards them together.
  • Before every appointment you receive a message with information and the expected costs in your preferred language.
  • After the appointment you receive a bill with an explanation of every procedure in your preferred language.

Promise 3: You can reach us easily

You can make an appointment, ask a question or simply pass something on in different ways. Whether you do it online or prefer to call, both work. We make getting in touch with us as simple as possible.

How we do that

  • You can reach us via WhatsApp, email, phone, your patient portal and even fax.
  • Through every channel you can make or change appointments and ask all your questions.
  • Our practice manager sits at the front desk and answers all your questions, online and offline.

In the heart of Zeist

You'll find us on the ground floor of De Hooght, the former ABN AMRO bank office. De Hooght is a bright (and recently renovated) building on the 2e Hogeweg. The glass facade lets daylight in everywhere: open and relaxed, nothing clinical about it. The bus stops right outside and there is parking on site.

Who we are

Meet the team that puts our convictions and promises into practice every day.

  • Jelle Boersma

    Practice manager and co-founder

  • Marianne van Leeuwen

    Dentist and co-founder

  • Herman Vulkers

    Developer and co-founder

Before we open, our team will be strengthened with a second dentist, two assistants, a dental hygienist and a prevention assistant. Applications are welcome from 1 October, but you're of course welcome to ask questions right now.

Why we're starting Element

Marianne grew up in her parents' dental practice: thirty-five years run from their home, with a small permanent team that knew its patients through and through. Care has only improved since then, but that familiar way of caring quietly disappeared as more and more practices came into the hands of chains and investors.

With Element we're bringing that back: a practice owned by its dentists, without outside investors. Not a practice to build up and sell, but a place to stay. Marianne looks after the care, Jelle and Herman take care of everything around it.
